Hello,

I have a quick question about DNS agent CNAME record, when we bring the resource online it update the cname record. What we bring offline it goes to DNS zone and delete the entry?

No the offline does nothing, it only changes it if you online it on another node at a different site.

Actually even though by default it does not do anything - it can - see extract from Bundled agents guide:

Offline
Removes the Online lock file.
If attribute OffDelRR is true, offline removes all records that the ResRecord keys define.

OffDelRR
Use the OffDelRR attribute to direct the offline and clean agent
functions to remove all records that the ResRecord key defines. You
must set the value of this attribute to 1 (true) to have the agent remove
all the records.
Type and dimension: boolean-scalar
Default: 0
