Is there a trial VCS install package specifically for Oracle Enterprise Linux or should I be using the RHEL5 package?

We have Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.5 x86_64 installed on two vms (host1, host2)

If I try to install the RHEL5 VCS 5.1 SP1 package (VRTS_SF_HA_Solutions_5.1_SP1_RHEL.tar.gz) I get the following error:

System verification did not complete successfully

The following errors were discovered on the systems:

host1 is running Linux version 2.6.32-100.24.1.el5

Supported versions are: 2.6.18-*

Kernel Release 2.6.32-100.24.1.el5 is not supported.

Only Kernel Release 2.6.18-128.el5 or higher is supported on RHEL5.

host2 is running Linux version 2.6.32-100.24.1.el5

Supported versions are: 2.6.18-*

Kernel Release 2.6.32-100.24.1.el5 is not supported.

According to Oracle documentation:

Certification with Oracle Linux 5 (PDF) (http://www.oracle.com/us/technologies/027626.pdf)

For ISVs That Also Check Linux Kernel Version

As of Oracle Linux 5 Update 5, there are three kernels options:

 Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel (2.6.32-x.y.z or newer)

 Red Hat compatible kernel (2.6.18-x.y.z.el5)

 Red Hat compatible kernel with Oracle bug fixes (2.6.18-x.y.z.n.m.el5)

As of Oracle Linux 5 Update 6, Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel is installed and booted by default. The Red Hat compatible kernel is also installed, and you may configure the operating system to boot with this kernel instead.

Since Veritas products are strictly depended on Redhat kernel,  so if user want to install Veritas products on Oralce Linux 5 especially after Update 6, he can configure the OS to boot with Red Hat compatible kernel or Red Hat compatible kernel with Oracle bug fixes.
