"VRTS CLUSTER SERVER HA/DR"  IS the special licence to use GCO - this license allows you to use GCO or an RDC (Replicated Data Cluster).

for whether to use GCO or RDC

You can check if you have global cluster enabled by the following command :

$ vxlicrep -e |grep Global

   Global Cluster Option#VERITAS Cluster Server = Enabled
   Global Cluster Option#VERITAS Cluster Server = Enabled
   Global Cluster Option               = Enabled

Hi,

You can use GCO & should have GCO option enabled if the license is HA/DR. As Novonil mentioned, check with the above mentioned command.
