Hi Zahid,

Yes, the main.cf file holds all the Service Group information.

The "Managing VCS configuration files" section of the SFW/HA Admin Guide describes this in pretty detail:

ftp://exftpp.symantec.com/pub/support/products/Storage_Foundation_for_Windows/306333.pdf

I hope this helps.

Hi Zahid,

I would add a few pieces of info. Although Manuel is correct that main.cf holds the bulk of the  configuration, don't forget that some values may be in the othe *.cf files, e.g. types.cf (especially if you have customized some of the agent timeouts, like the monitor interval, etc).

A command you should look into is "hasnap". This command can be used to get a snapshot of your VCS configuration. It puts together a tar/zip file of your VCS config (including llt and gab config, trigger scripts, custom agents, and other things outside the *.cf files as well!)
