I have a trial of the latest DLO installed alongside BE 15. DLO is using its own local instance of SQL.
Is there any documentation (or recommendations) on what pieces of the DLO should be backed up via BE? The SQL instance and Storage Locations are obvious candidates, but can the Dedupe Locations be ignored? Should DLO be placed into a scheduled Maintenance window while BE is archiving the DLO system?
Hi, It is recommended to take all the DLO components backed up. The Dedupe Storage Locations (DSL) cannot be ignored incase Dedupe backups are taken and Yes, it is recommended to Keep DLO in Maintenance mode while BE is archiving the DLO System.
