Can i install DLO 7.5 Maintenence Server in a Hyper-V VM?

Hi,

I have a DLO 7.5 distributed structure where DLO main servers are in central Data Center and Mintenence Server and DLO storage folder in each location. My question is, can i install maintenance server in a Hyper-VM? I have only Hyper-V Host available locallu in remote locations.

Hi shamee,

If this server isn't involved with the day-to-day backups happening in the environment, then installing it as a VM should be fine.

It is a server that grooms files and maintains a specific, set number of them.
