DLO : Could not connect to server host

Hi

I have a strange problem. Dlo 7.5 is properly installed on Windows 2012.
Firewall is turned off (for testing). Agents are installed correctly. I can telnet from the clients to port 8080 and 8443 on the server. Backup on the client is made to a local resource. However, client can not upload files to the server (although created the directory structure on the server).
The client logs are:

"Failed to copy to the network user data folder. Deduplication failed: Could not connect to server host."

Debug mentions Dedupe Engine is offline.

Would you pls verify if Mindtree Storesmart service is started or not.

Are you able to access from the client ~ http://dedupeservernameorip:8080 or http://dedupeservernameorip:8443 ?

Which account is used for the DeDupe service, SQL & DLO services ?

Is the NUDF on the same server or a different server ?

On the server I have also installed the "File and Storage Service"

On a single client, delete the .settings file & restart the DLO Agent UI. Enable verbose logging from the UI & post or PM the debug.

Try restarting the Mindtree + SQL DeDupe services. Is this a new install of 7.5 or was it upgraded from 7.0 ?

What sort of permissions do the users have over the NUDF & the DeDupe storage ?

I restarted services.

  I'm not sure I understand your question about NUDF & the DeDupe storage, this is the same folder.

I have storage location for example "backup" d:\backup. Default dedupe storage location is dedupe server (the same server). Dedupe Server Storage Location \\dedupeserver\backup (d:\backup)

Permissions are:

share permissions Everyone - Full

DLO Service domain user : Full

Security permisions

DLO Service domain user : Full

Everyone: Read & execute, List folder, Read

Administrators: Full

NUDF refers to Network User Data Folder. This is to be different from the DeDupe Storage. They can exist on the same server, but should not be the same location (D:\backup in this case)

When I create new user i must choose user name, profile (I have 2 profile with dedupe enabled, one without)

When i use profile with dedupe i must use storage defined as dedupe storage location. If I use profile without dedupe i must use storage location without dedupe.

NUDF path is grayed out when i add new user :(

Hi

My problem is now solved. The server was reinstalled and despite the fact that the service listened on port 8080,  from the old configuration remains non-standard port selected originally.
