You can Install DLO Admin Server at the Central Location and on every respective site you can have Local Storage Location.
Lets Assume you have 4 Sites
Site A, Site B, Site C and Site D.
Site A is where you sit so you can install DLO Admin Server at this site. This is the site which you can use to configure backup policies for different sites and on this site you can host DLO Database and Dedupe Database.
On the other respective Sites you can have DLO Storage Location Created so that all the users you are backing up on those respective site will backup data locally on those Storage Location (e.g., site B users data will go to a Storage Location which is local to Site B). This way DLO Data for the users will travel locally and it will only send the job history and update database on Site A which would be more faster.
You can view all the users information and their backup history from the DLO Admin Server which is local to Site A.
