Hi
I am getting the below error while trying to add a user manually to the DLO Console.
Error V-138-5224-1020
Unable to add user domain\username. The system returned the
following message: 80040e2f
Automated user assignment is also not working, so I was adding users manually. I recently deleted many users, these
are the only changes I've made since it stopped working for all users.
I have also tried updating the XPDLOShareu.dll file as indicated in the below link:

From this link I am also unable to run the commands to update the DLO database. On my DLO server the XPDLOShareu.dll
is located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Binn
folder as opposed to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Binn
I'm using DLO version 7.5
Any assistance in helping resolve this issue is greatly appreciated

As you mentioned that you had recently deleted many users (assuming the deletion was from the DLO), it could be possible, that these users still exist in the DLO DB.
Would you pls enable debugging at the DLO server using the following KB and either PM/post me the logs. - http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH51435

For the benefit of others...
We were unable to add new users as they were renamed but the original SID persisted for each user. As DLO keeps track of AD users on SID basis, deleted the old users from the DLO Admin console and then we were able to add the newly renamed users.
