Hi
I have a user who is getting the below error on the DLO console when trying to restore files:
error reading source file. attempt to decrypt with bogus header.
Any ideas why this is happening? She has the client installed on 3 different systems and is unable to restore any files.
Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks
Jimmy

Was the data backed up and now restored with the same version of DLO Agent ? This usually happens if for example, data backed up using SDLO 7.5 is being restored using the SDLO 7.0 agent..
If using same versions, are you able to perform an "emergency restore" ?

Hi VJware
You hit the nail on the head. It's looking like it's an issue with trying to restore with an old version of a client. The user had backed up using 7.5 and is trying to restore using 7.0. Is there any way to resolve this while still using version the 7.0 client?
Thanks
Jimmy

Unfortunately no as DLO 7.5 uses 256-bit encryption whereas DLO 7.0 uses 128-bit & hence the error.
