Hi Team

This is regarding DLO 7.5-sp1
I have one query
If user A has a 10 GB of PST. After completion of PST backup if user has delete few old emails from his PST let’s say 2 GB of emails inside the PST. What happen with
the network user folder location Does it also delete the emails on DLO server?
I understand the revision control setting and deletion of Network user data folder which is applicable to file level but what happen with the PST level incremental backup?

Mayu,

If you go the Network Data Folder or Local data folder depending upon the number  of revision you will find the number of files for reference/revision files for each pst. It will have one primary file which contains almost all the data and others will be "delta" files refering to the primary files.

The primary file is groomed by the maintenance process each time when a new revision is added and accordingly it will contain the data.

You should be able to restore the deleted files but it will not be granular, it will restored as entire PST as what it was backed up at that time. It will not restore along with the new changes, the state of the pst will state when it was backed for the revision (date) that you are looking for.
