Hi,

I already backed up "D:\iso" in Network storage with DLO.

Currently, I would like to remove it from Network storage.

I have tried to unchekd "D:\iso" in DLO agent and save, then run job for once. But "D:\iso" stilll exist in network storage.

What should I do ?

Thanks !

If you are not going to restore this file at all, then browse to the Network User Data Folder and delete this file.

But this action need to do by DLO admin on DLO server, can DLO user do it themself ?

Afaik, if the DLO user has sufficient rights/permissions, then yes.

- How to grant DLO user permission in DLO ?

- Or you mean user need have authority to logon Network location server to remove ?

User should have NTFS share and security permissions to access the NUDF share and to delete the file.

Since this path not shared, thus users can't access through shared folder.

So you mean this action by DLO admin to remove from storage or share remote stoeage path for user to remvoe by themselves ?

Thanks

Right. It depends upon what security/sharing ACLs (NTFS permissions) you have applied. If the user doesn't have access, then the DLO admin can remove the unwanted files.
