Hello, I don't believe that DLO has this option. Backup Exec 2014 and 15 has something called Checkpoint Restart. refer here: http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO99495
This feature is built in DLO and yes, the backup will automatically continue incase of a network interruption. Once the network connectivity is restored, the backup will automatically continue.
