Hello
All users appear to be affected by this issue. When they connect to our remote VPN, a DLO box pops up after about 1 minute saying "Unable to connect to DLO Administration Server". However if I ping the admin server it responds and if I test the ports (135,139, 445, 3999) with telnet they are open.
What could be the issue please? I don't actually want any backup to take place while users are on the VPN anyway; how can I acheive this please?
Cheers,
James

Hi James,
Check below and see if any of these are related to your issue:
http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH137614

Also make sure all the services are running.
Thanks!

I experienced the same problem. It was a DNS issue. As a work around and a way to test it, add a line item to your client computer Host file to map to the server housing the DLO Server.
That fixed the issue for me.

That sounds logical, thanks Mike! I'll give that a go and let you know if it solves my problem.
