Upgrading DLO 8.0 to DLO 9.0 SP1

Hi,

One of my customer is using DLO 8.0 and we are planning to upgrade it to DLO 9.0.

If we upgrade the DLO server to 9.0 , still users with DLO 8.0 will be backed  up? Please let me know the workaroud.
