symantec dlo 7.0 migrate user and data to DLO 7.5.1

hi All,

currently have existing 7.0 DLO on server A, with storage location A, with database A, with current users.

have build new server B, with 7.5.1 DLO, with storage location B, with database B, with no users.

is there a way to migrate users and data from storage A and server A DLO, onto storage B and server B DLO.

what is the best process?

I would recommend to upgrade DLO on the existing server first and then perform the migration. This KB has the steps for doing so - http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH217373

Another method would to manually upgrade the 7.0 DB schema to 7.5.1 using SQL upgrade scripts, however the entire process is slightly tricky and hence, would recommend the first option instead.

Agree with VJware, Take Care: Before migrate Users to DLO 7.5, Upgrade all Clients to Current Version (DLO 7.5).
