Hi
EV 9.0.2
Have some massive searches in DA (e.g. 26 million items) in a case that has "put items on Legal Hold" ticked.
Accepting these results is taking too long.
I want to safely stop accepting the results.
Can I simply uncheck "put items on legal hold" and then delete the case?
Does this mess up anything in SQL? e.g. what happens to the items that have already been accepted? Will legal hold be lifted from them?
Is this a safe method of accomplishing what I'm trying to do?
thanks

Thanks, logged a case with Symantec, they advised there's no good way except to let the case finish accepting.

As you stated, uncheck Legal Hold and delete the case. It will clean up after itself.

One thing you might want to do is make sure the SQL Maintenance is being ran on the customer database.

If you want to do it manually you can follow this TN:

This should help with performance .
