Can someone send a screen shot of how and what a rule for deduplication on a case would look like.  We want to deduplicate our records prior to examination and export.  We have several vault stores/juornals in our environment.

Alok is correct with DA.  In the Revew tab, you'll find a 'Stack' option that is set to "None" by default.  Change that to "Similar" to see items that are similar to each other stacked under one primary copy.  The option of "Duplicate" is available if Analytics has been enabled and completed processing.

When exporting, you have the option to export only one instance of the similar or duplicate items.

Be aware that there are some rare issues that still get duplicate messages considered as individual items instead of duplicates or similar.

Hello,

Either haven't full understood your question and you are mixing two different things together, in my undersranding Rules Builder and Duplication are two different things in Discovery Accelerator.

Is your use case to generate export/production of items based on certain crieteria ( Example: Export Items marked by John Smith and Message Type Exchange)

Once filtering and finding list of items is done based on your Export condition, you can also select to "Exclude similar/duplicate items" from exported data ( See attachment)

So for example, there are 10 items machine to your Export Rule and 1 items orginial and rest 9 are it's duplicates (coming from different archive) then selecting "Exclude Similar Items" option will only export single item in PST etc, rest 9 issues are removed from export run.

Cheers,

Alok
