I have a requirement to delte a search the DA clerk doesn't require any longer - how can this be accomplished.
I don't see any options in the Client....is there a SQL query that can do this? I can reject(and abandon), prior to accepting the search but afterwards, can't reject to remove the search.

No, once you accept a search it can not be deleted. You can delete a case, but not a search.
In the future, the person might want to use a Research Folder if they are just doing a quick investigation.

i'm not a DA expert but i'll try to help you out.
where are you seeing this? once a search is accepted it's no longer a "search", it becomes part of the case
