Reports DA8 'Cannot impersonate user' error

Hello DA-experts,

I've configured DA-reports and deployed them succesfully.

I have a user testing the DA-client (80SP4), and searches etc work fine. When trying to run a report, the user gets below error:

An error has occurred during report processing. ---> Cannot impersonate user for data source 'CustomerDatabase'. ---> Logon failed. ---> Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070569)

Does anyone know what this error is, and how it can be resolved?

Is the useraccount it refers to the account of the one used to install reporting? Is it the user wanting to run a report? Is it the VSA?

Thanks.

Gertjan

While researching, I stumbled upon a troubleshooting reporting document.

I cannot locate it, but I recalled that it had the following:

Grant the account used to generate the reports the 'allow logon locally' in the Local Security Policy on the reporting server.

I did, and the reports now work!

Gertjan.

Hello Tony,

Yes I have. I have triple verified that the account used to upload the reports is the Vault Service Account, and that the password is the correct one.

I'm leaning to rights on the SQL-server (logon locally?) but I am not sure anymore.

It is driving me crazy. I'll call support to see if they have an idea.

Thanks.
