Search using DA, multiple DA and EV sites

It's been a while since I got this question but the same question have now come up again.

If I remember correctly it is possible to create one case spanning multiple seperate DA installations.

But I can't find any info about it in the documentation so I need to verify if I remember incorrectly.

If I do remember this correctly, is there anything special that need to be done in terms of configuration in either server or client.

1. Log into the Discovery Accelerator EVBAADMIN webpage (http://<DA_Server>/evbaamin).
 

2. In left task pane, right click the customer where the issue exists and choose Properties.
 

3. For the Directory DNS Alias enter the name of the additional Enterprise Vault Site alias.
 

4. Restart the Enterprise Vault Accelerator Manager service on the Discovery Accelerator server.
 

5. Relaunch the customer webpage. Under Application Administration, click Archives to verify they are now available.
