How would one define the difference between a target and a custodian in DA?

A Target is an entry for any user inside or outside of the organization that is noted in the DA Customer database and is only available within DA Cases or the specific DA Case in which the Target is created.

A Custodian is an entry for any user inside or outside the organization that is noted in the Custodian Manager database and is available for use in any DA Customer that is associated to the DA Confguretion database to which the Custodian Manager database is linked.

Do you need anything more specific than this information?
