Application admins or DBAs quite often inqury us to provide them information on how certain hosts are backed up. To fullfill their requests I've written a Korn shell script that takes the host names from the text file and yelds policy, schedule, frequency and retention level for each data set of the host. You can import the output of the script into MS Excel spreadsheet and do whatever you want with it.

I have submitted new version of the script that is more common and is not tied to my NetBackup environment.

Can you share the new version?  This would help me out greatly!

OK this versions is still unique to OP's original environment as the ksh script in this zip calls another script in OP's /space directory. It appears the OP did post a new version of the script at: https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/downloads/script-generate-reports-backup-policies-given-set-clients
