Storage Foundation DMP for Exchange 2003 - DMP or MPIO DMP?

Hello community,

I'm looking at moving a couple of Exchange 2003 databases (running on Windows 2003) onto a new EMC SAN. For multipathing, should I use the VxVM MPIO DMP option or just the std VxVM DMP option? - Compatibly matrix checkout okay however I can't clearly determine which one I should be using.. Exchange servers are standalone..

Hey Ray

SYMC are not devloping DMP ASL's (old style) any more. The way forward is DMP DSM's (MPIO) if you check out on the HCL then you should go down this path.
