Dell Client Manager 3.2 - support Dell Optiplex 990

Hello,

 

I checked Dell Client Manger 3.2 user guide and there are listed workstations that support BIOS updates. There are no latest Optiplex stations like 980 and 990? Does anyone knows if it will be updated?

 

When I create a "BIOS update job" and select the BIOS execution file I can not get to second step "Step 2: Resource target".

 

Do you have any ideas?

 

I am working on SMP 7.0 SP5.

Could you please provide more information on that? Why can't you get to the second step? Is there any error seen?

For newer models not listed as BIOS Update supported ones I would recommend you to try to use Patch Management for Dell Clients functionality included into Dell Client Manager product. You can follow the steps from DCM portal page to use it:
