Although not officially supported yet, I was able to get Yosemite 10.10.2 to backup with 2014 Service Pack 1, using the Rals Agent Installer provided in 2014 Service Pack 2. I had to make sure IPv6 was turned off as well. Besides looking for the beremote service running under the activity monitor, I found you can run the following in Terminal to start, stop and check the service. sudo /opt/VRTSralus/bin/VRTSralus.init status. Replace "status" with start or stop.
