Hi all, here's some of what we've been up to in the last week:

Rich Text Editor Upgrade:
We've upgraded to the CKEditor (http://www.ckeditor.com) rich-text editor -- advantages include:

Smaller, faster-loading codebase.

"Paste from Word" button that allows you to paste content directly from Word. CKEditor strips the extraneous Word tags that have a tendency to display on Connect pages.

Customized spell checker that includes terms like "Symantec" and "Altiris".

New "quote" button that wraps text in <blockquote> tags.

Support for graphical emoticons.

"Insert Teaser Break" button that lets you control where the break for the RSS teaser is applied.

Performance Improvement:
We've enabled "CSS and Javascript aggregation and optimization" on Connect. This feature aggregates the many CSS and Javascript files into two optimized files that download faster, can be cached, and require fewer server processes to deliver to your browser.

Content Update:
Imported 614 top-shelf articles that were gifted to us by Symantec's Security Focus site. (http://www.symantec.com/connect/topics/security/securityfocus).

Search Improvement:
Forum topics that have been marked as "solved" are now identified by a solved image that displays in the search results list.

XML Sitemap Update:
Updated the XML Sitemap module to the latest release. XML Sitemap helps search engines, like Google, index the content in our community. Connect's XML sitemap can be viewed at http://www.symantec.com/connect/sitemap.xml
