Symantec Cooperates with SAP to Simplify Big Data Backups

This allows our customers to make use of the current NetBackup deployment without requiring extra point tools to meet the challenge of further protecting deployments of SAP HANA.

As one of the first third-party backup solutions certified by SAP to integrate with SAP HANA, NetBackup condenses the process of backing up SAP HANA from two steps into one, giving organizations the ability to backup SAP HANA directly to the NetBackup platform.
