80sp4 move a store from the default vsg to a new one - downtime?

Hello all,

If I want to move an existing Vault Store from the Defualt Upgrade Vault Store Group to a newly created group, is this 'on the fly', or do I experience downtime?

could this be done now, or should I wait with performing this action until the maintenance-window (ie downtime allowed)?

Unless "Murphy" shows up it's on the fly, no downtime.

Don't think you really have to worry about it.

Have done it at least 10-20 times and so far no issue.

But then again murphy is murphy :)

Unless you have configured some level of sharing (default is no sharing), then the movement is very quick since it's just a update to the SQL tables.  If you have configured any level of sharing you cannot move from one VSG to another VSG.
