On XP SP3, Outlook 2007 SP2, EV-client 9.01.1073.0.http
Functionality within Outlook:
When opening an archived mail by doubleclicking on it, I get a popup message saying:
A newer version of the EV Software is available. Do you want to download and install this software now? When I click Yes, it opens the mail, with an empty content.
It does show:
Navigation to the webpage was canceled, what you can try: refresh the page.
When clicking the Refresh the page, nothing happens.
When opening Archive Explorer (which is set to open in a browser window), I get a popup, stating:
IE may be blocking “Symantec Enterprise Vault Outlook Addin”. If there is a security prompt from IE, click the Information Bar at the top of the screen to allow the add-on to run.
When clicking ok, the AE opens, and I can browse and open mails.
Searching (Search Vaults) works fine.

Apparently some dll got unregistered.
Running ResetEVClient fixed it.
