Access to Shared Mailboxes via Virtual Vault from a different EV Site

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody out there had encountered the challenge that we have today.

The Challenge

How to access a Shared Mailbox via Virtual Vault from a different EV Site

Setup

Four EV Sites

Each Site targetting the Exchange Servers located within the EV site boundaries

The only option we have on the table at present is to use Archive Explorer targetting the regional EV servers via a URL. Has anyone encountered this challenge before? If so did you find any alternatives to using Archive Explorer?

Thanks

Unfortunately Archive Explorer and Search.asp are your only options
For virtual vault to be utilized you would need a seperate mail profile for each and be the primary mailbox owner in order to re-org, add items, delete items etc
If you are not the primary mailbox owner then you will get a read-only view of virtual vault, but again you would have to have a mail profile for a mailbox in that EV Site that is EV Enabled with permissions assigned to the archive you want VV to exist for
