An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted) even following 288139.pdf

We are running EV 7.5 SP2 on a 32 bit Windows 2003 server machine.  Our database server is called Hawk and is a Windows 2003 Server 64 bit machine.

We have successfully deployed Enterprise Vault reporting, however some of the reports generate a "An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)" error. (one of them is "Archived Items Access"  I followed the steps listed in 288139.pdf to resolve this (adding an entry to the web.config file) and the problem still persisted after a reboot.  Whenever that error happens, we also get this in the Windows Application Log:

How can I fix this error?

Update on my own error, this problem only happens with the following reports:

Archived Items Access
Archived Items Access Trends
Vault Store Usage by Archive
Vault Store Usage by Billing Account

Does these reports have anything in common?

Hi,

for the first two reports it is neccessary to activate the auditing on EV server level.
The third and the fourth report won't work on a 64-Bit SQL system. Just refer to the 64-Bit FAQ from Symantec which says:

---

Yes, Enterprise Vault 2007 databases (including Compliance and Discovery Accelerator databases) are supported. EV Reporting is also supported with the exception of the Vault Store Usage Summary, Vault Store Usage by Archive, and Vault Store Usage by Billing Account reports. In fact, using a remote SQL Server running on x64 will provide performance benefits due to memory availability. However, using a remote SQL Server running on IA64 is currently not supported.

---

With kind regards,

Nico

I remember the issue about the certain reports not running on 64 bit now that you mention it.  Didn't know about the auditing, but now I've got that running.  Thanks!

Hi.  Anyone know if or when this will be resolved?  My SQL admininistrators what to decommission their 32-bit SQL servers and the reporting not working right on 64-bit is holding us up.  If it's not going to be fixed, please let me know.

Please do not hijack old threads, open up a new one, this is much cleaner and you get faster responses.

I think for this inquire, you'd need to go trough your account rep at symantec, or trough support.
