hello,
running ev 8
currently we have messages in the in-box archive messages after 60 days.
we also have managed folders with different retention categories ie. 1 yr 10 yrs, etc....
would there be any way to make it item archive immediately when a message moves to a managed folder instead of waiting the 60 days?
thanks

Well...you could archive the items manually....
The problem you have here is that what you need to do to make a folder archive immediately is to create a custom filter. However, because of the way managed folder archiving has been implemented, you cannot set custom filtering on the managed folders.
So, either you turn off the managed folder synch and roll out an EVPM policy in lieu of this to do exactly what you want (and expire items at approximately the same time) or you could go the 'other' way and set a general policy in the vault admin console to archive everything immediately and use custom filters on the rest of the folders except the managed ones (I dont think this second option is viable...just mentioning it as theoretical solution)
