Archiving not start and Search hangs on white page

Hi;
I faced with an unexpected error.
I install successfully EV and also I enable mailbox without an error. But archiving not start. And also when I tried to open EV search page its not open. I just hangs on blank screen.

What is your EV version ?

Check site schedule for archiving.

Any messages in the eventlog ?

Version is EV 10.0.1 And also our exchange is ex 2010 all roles on same server.

I run archive task manually on selected mailbox. But no change. No files generated on related evstore folder.

And also I am not able to open http://ip/EnterpriseVault its hangs on white page.

Hello Cemille.

If you run deploymentscanner, is that ok?

On the EV-server itself, can you open the http://localhost/enterprisevault/archiveexplorerui.asp

From wherever you are opening the AE, can you ping the ev-server and ping via the alias?

Is IIS running fine?

As zerocool says, and errors in eventlog?

and, clarify: you state:

I assume you have an all in one exchange server, and a SEPERATE EV-server?

Did you try a reboot

EV is on a separete server. And also exchage 2010 all role on same server.

This is a new installation. I restart several times. But no change.

I attached the .cab file from deployment result. This may give some clue. I look all of it but I am not able to find any error.

What I see:

Database and installed Binary versions DO NOT Match

 

IIS :  EnterpriseVault    AccessFlags :    Read, Script   should be AccessRead | AccessScript  
Exchange Mailbox Archiving Task for EVEREST;   is set to use the site schedule which is disabled  

 Default Archiving Schedule (Site Schedule)


 Schedule is disabled  

I am not sure the dss works properly for EV10SP1, but I think it does. Enable schedule is your first step

this is a new fresh install. Is this normal.

And also do you have any idea about why the web page not open

if its just hanging, try doing a DTrace of W3WP and also look in your event logs to see if theres any issues in either Application or System, and may be look at configuring IIS failed request tracing and what not.

Best guess is its a security issue such as USL or firewall on the server.

I made a fresh install with new machine. And its work right now.
