Archiving without inactivity period

Hello,

I'm trying to setup archiving of mailboxes when the age of items exceed 35 days.

If a user modifies an item of 30 days-old, it will not be archived until 30 + 35 = 65 days.

Is there a way to configure archiving of items, modified or not, at a fixed number of days?

In fact, I want to archive all mails when they are 35 days-old, even if they have been modified the day before.

Many thanks for your help.

You are going to want to use IgnoreEVDates:

HKLM\Software\KVS\Enterprise Vault\Agents
IgnoreEVDates

0 = Off
1 = Ignore Archived date
2 = Ignore Restored date
3 = Ignore both Archived and Restored date

Thank you Mohawk,

Is there any doc about this feature? As I want to test this only on a couple of users and I don't want to impact everybody.

thank you again

This is an all or nothing reg key and the only TN I could find, in my highly limited effort!

Hi,

Mohawk is slightly incorrect.  His comments are in relation to archived items which are then restored.

For unarchived items, Enterprise Vault will use the sent/received date on the item.  So no matter if the user modifies the item, it will get archived after 35 days.
