I have some users with a problem retrieving archived attachments from our vault. When opening the archived message the text appears fine but the attachment isn't there, the banner at the top contains the message "There was an error loading this item -- some functionality may not be available". When i click on the banner i get a popup entitled "Enterprise Vault" with the message "The item is no longer in the vault".
It appears to be random as to which archived messages are affected, messages before & after the problem ones work ok, the problem ones have also occured at different times over a few months.
I have logged onto our vault server and managed to view the items and attachments successully.
The download format has always been set to "msg".
All vault buttons are hidden from users, they can only open archived messages.
I have installed Exchange Forms & the Outlook Add-In. I'm running EV2007 v7.5, MS Exchange, client is
Outlook 2003.
Has anyone any ideas on a solution for this problem?
