We have backup exec archiving a network share and our users would like to have that location as an available search location in sharepoint.
I setup a federated search in sharepoint and it seems to be indexing only items that have not been archived yet, it wont even index the names of the archived items.
After some googling it looks like Enterprise Vault might have an api or something that sharepoint can send search queries to. Is this possible? I have been having trouble finding information on it.
If any sharepoint module for EV is required, we do have EV archiving sharepoint items so I am assuming we have the stuff for that.
