Best Practices - Keyword Searching

Hello Veritas Community, 

Wondering how other users of Enterprise Vault minimize noise (false positives) with keyword searching for email compliance. 

Switching from random sampling to keyword searching and finding much more noise with this methodology, particularly coming from the disclaimer at the bottom of emails. 

Best practices and ideas appreciated!

Hello,

One of the things you can do (for future archived mail) is to define an exclusion to index disclaimers. I believe this is on the Site properties. Add all disclaimers you use in your organization. 

These will then not be indexed, and thus not found in DA/CA

there are only a few organizational things you can do to reduced false positives.

either in someway "Tag" the mails before to handle them differently OR be more precise with the search. (for example - create Rules that are more specific (Classification)).
