I trying to figure out the best method when handling users who have left the company. I normally archive the entire mailbox using EVPM, then delete their Exchange mailbox. We don't normally delete the user's AD account.
Is this way recommended? The reason I ask is because I am decomissing an Exchange server that was being archived by EV. I've moved all the active mailboxes but when I do a SQL query (based on Doc. # 286709) it returns all the users whose Exchange mailboxes I've deleted in the past.
Just wondering if I'm doing anything wrong.
