Hi,
I'm trying to identify 'dormant' distribution lists in our organisation, ie, which distribution lists haven't been mailed to in the last year.
We've been using EV Journalling for a while now, so I figured it might be a good source to help me.

Is there a way of scripting a number of archive searches? So I would feed in a group of distribution lists (We've got thousands of DLs), it would do a search in the journal archive for any messages sent to the DL in the last year and number of results would be recorded.

Is there an API or something that could help me with this?

Thanks.

I think the Search API could do this, but this has to be licensed.
Speak with your sales rep, I don't know the pricing.

You will get an API guide with a fairly good description of the Search API.
You can write it in C++, C#, VB.NET, and maybe even VBS.
