Calendar Archiving?

I was talking to my colleague, and he said calendar archiving is gone since EV 7.0.  Is it true? We have a lot of users who schedule meetings with attachments, and their calendars are like 1GB+.

Nope - it's still there...

Yes it is still there but note that the same archiving rules apply. Stuff like Attachements ovwer 50MB are not indexed so not searchable by content and stuff like that

Thanks a lot. Umm.. wondering why he told me that it was gone. Probably he was hiding something.

Someone might correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there are shortcuts for calendar items.  So if you archive calendar items with the setting to leave shortcuts behind, the original calendar items are not removed.  If you archive calendar items without leaving shortcuts, the original items are removed.
