Calendar Item Shortcuts

Hi All, According to the following technote EV 8 SP3 should NOT create shortcuts for Calendar items; http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/337000.htm However, is 8 SP4 that rule doesn't seem to apply as I have shortcut deletion turned on and archived Calendar items are dissappearing from mailboxes. I can't turn off shortcut deletion due to another bug which means I MUST have it switched on. The following forum post started by MoJoe went through the whole calendar shortcut issue, and it was apparently fixed in SP3 (https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/ev-80-changed-way-it-handles-calendar-item-deletion) but it looks like it may have changed again in SP4, but I just need clarification from someone if they're seeing the same with SP4? Thanks, BZ PS; EV8 SP4 (New Installation) on Win2k3 x64, with lots of processor, RAM and disk, etc.

I don't see any changes in this area from the things mentioned in the technote.  If you are seeing something different, I'd suggest contact Support and working through them to escalate/check the issue.

One thing to check. Do you have the following registry key set? If so, that would most likely explain what you are seeing

DeleteNonShortcutItems

Location
 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
 \SOFTWARE
  \KVS
   \Enterprise Vault
    \Agents

Thank you Rob, I will have to escalate to support.

Thank you Nick, the first thing I checked was that registry key (which is in the technote in my original post http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/337000.htm) and no, it's not present.
