Client can't connect to EV DR server

Hi Guys,

I've built a DR box (exchange archiving) and all works perfectly............except when trying to connect to a vault from a client workstation I get an error on the client side "enterprise vault service isn't running"

If I add the domain users to the local admins group on the EV DR server it all now works perfectly (can vault, can retrieve).

Any ideas on a resolution to this one?

As I said apart from that it's all working perfectly, can archive can retrieve, just very frustrating as its so close.

Have you run USL?

As Maynard said, you have to run Update Service Locations update form Enterprise Vault server.

Also do not forget to run ipconfig/ flushdns form client computers.
