Windows 10, Outlook 2016. When I try to load the EV add-in I get the error A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM Add-in. I tried enabling logging, but nothing shows up there. what else can I look at.

In order to further assist you, we need more information on the issue found. Such as the Event viewer logs.
For the issue mentioned I would suggest the following technote:
The Enterprise Vault Client Add-in does not load in Outlook
https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.000081218
It could be a compatibility issue. We would need to see more information on the error logs.

Which version of build of Outlook 2016 do you use ?
Which version of Outlook Add-in do you use ? And which version of Enterprise Vault do you use ?
I think that you can use the last version of Outlook Add-in the 12.3.1 for make test : https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100042191

Thanks for the responses, I have a case open with EV support .
