Confirmation of Mailbox Archiving EV11

OK Scenario

we have users leaving the business, we need to ensure that these users mailbox content is all archived into EV.  We do this with a Policy that auto enables the archive and that archives anything in the Mailbox

However for various reasons there are times when this simply does not archive or enable the acct for archiving.

at the minute we manually check these accounts to ensure archiving has occured( login to users MB) .  However it would be much easier if we could see a flag on an AD attribute or somewhere in the EV console to show that the policy has been applied and archiving has occured.

in short can EV mark an account to show a policy has been enforced ?

thanks

No it can't do that.  But if you want 'something' to process your leavers, check our Archive Leavers tool.

Why not just review the archiving reports?

as JW mentions, the archiving report should show the mailboxes as being in the leavers policy, and what is in the mailbox (or not). an initial check would be to check the provisioning report, to see if the users are correctly provisioned.

Also, once you've run the Provisioning Task in the VAC go to Targets then right-click on Exchange and you'll get the "Display Policies Assigned to Mailboxes" option which will confirm exactly which policy is being applied to a specific mailbox.
