Creating a New Vault Store

Trying to create a new Vault Store in EV11.0.1 (CHF5), on Windows 2012 R2.

We have 4 EV Journal clusters, I was able to create a new Vault Store on the first 3, but on the 4th cluster I get the following event in eventvwr (after 12 hours of it trying, it then failed) - Event ID: 29033 / Task Category: Storage Server

   Vault Store database version in DBConfig.dll is invalid.
 
   Vault Store Database name: EVJ04JRNAVS11
 
   Reason: Software version: 11.32.9.45.12 incompatible with Database version: 9.0.0.0
 
   Please correct problem and restart Storage Service.

 Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Lee,

Try the following:

1. Restart the Storage service on that cluster and retry creating the Vault Store 
2. Try creating the Vault store from a different EV server in the EV site

@LeeO You may also verify if the Enterprise Vault software and hotfixes installed on all the nodes are exactly the same i.e. 11.0.1 (CHF5)
