DSN Error with EV/SQL

Greetings,

I am currently facing a strange problem with EV. I am using it to archive mailboxes from MS Exchange. I have the SQL server Standard Edition installed on the same server. However, three days ago I started to see the following warning in the Event Viewer:

Source: Enterprise Vault

Category: Directory Service

Event ID: 13384

Database Service: Creating the DSN attribute 'Trusted_Connection' failed and was not set to 'yes'

I hope that this issue will be resolved. I appreciate all your opinions and help.

You can try removing all the EV related entries in your System DSN tab (Administrative Tools > Data Sources), then restart the EV admin service which will recreate those entries. See if that clears those warnings.

I tried removing the DSN enteries as you said and restarted the admin service but still facing the same warning. This warning appears only when we restart the server or when we restart the admin service.

Check that you have DisableLoopbackCheck enabled as per Method 1 in the Microsoft KB http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=896861

Make sure you backup your registry before making changes
