DST update

We use EV Version 6.0 SP1. The DST update for EV indicates that EV needs to be in Version 6.0 SP4 for DST patch to be installed. Is this true?

If true, can SP4 be installed with any problem on the server which is in SP1 right now or should Service Packs be installed in the order SP2 then SP3 and then Sp4 need to be installed on the server.

Please can someone guide us through the steps to install DST patch for EV.

There isn't a seperate patch for DST for EV. It is included in the SP 4 release itself. So upgrading to SP4 will install the EV DST update.

You can go directly from SP1 to SP4 without installing the other 2.

As always, have a good backup of your systems before upgrading, but otherwise you should be fine.

Is this the same scenario with DA too?

We have DA currently in Ver5.0 SP3.

Does the DA upgrade to SP4 include the DST patch in it or is the DST a separate patch after the upgrade to SP4?

For your DA version, it is a little different. There is a hotfix for DA 5.0 SP4. So you will have to upgrade to DA 5.0 SP4 and then apply the hotfix.

DA versions 6 and 7 had the fix in their Service Pack 1 releases.
