DelegateCanSeePrivateItems under EV 11 / 11.0.1

Hi,

i need to configure DelegateCanSeePrivateItems=1 under EV 11 / 11.0.1.
For previous releases, it is descirbed in the technote TECH57636.

How can I configure this option without WebApp.ini under EV 11?

I´ve tried to create the WebApp.ini file with this option, but under EV11 the file isn´t in use.

There's a ton of settings in the \Enterprise Vault\search\web.config See if any options listed there match it

No there aren´t any options which match on my requirement.

I´ve inserted the following line in the file \Enterprise Vault\WebApp\web.config
(described in the following TECH article: TECH152411)

<add key="DelegateCanSeePrivateItems" value="true"/>

Now I can see the shortcut with the private mail and i can open this mail. This works fine.

In the EV Search, i can`t see this private marked mail.

Any other ideas?

I´ve opened a case at symantec.
They have confirmed that there are no possibilities for the explained case above at this time.

Now they escalated the case.
 

I think there will be a solution in a future release.
