Discover unlinked archived files

Hello!
I have a policy in a FSA environment with rule “Do not delete archived files when placeholder is deleted”.
How can I find archived files where placeholder is missed and how can I remove them?

Unfortunately this is not possible today.

If you have multiple versions of files, you can remove the older versions by turning on pruning (ensure you are at the latest V2007 or V8 SP level beforehand), but that would still leave the most recent version of any file in the archive.

So I can delete only placeholder that do not have the corresponding archived files (orphaned) but not archived files (.DVS) without corresponding placeholders? I have 2007 SP5 and i'm planning to upgrade to 8.0  
I'll try on the lab to turning on the pruning.
